Healthy Homes Project
A study into damp, mould and indoor air quality in West Dunbartonshire
funded as part of Glasgow City Regions 5G Innovation Fund

Indoor Monitoring of over1000 homes
West Dunbartonshire council are equipping their 10,500 homes with sensors measuring humidity, temperature and CO2. We were contracted to carry out a deep dive analaysis if the data to help identify which homes are at the highest risk of damp and mould growth

Installation of outdoor air monitoring network
We also installed a network of outdoor air quality monitors around the area so we could understand the levels of outdoor pollution and how this pollution can transfer to indoor spaces when tenants ventilate their homes

Analysis of data and production of educational animated film
In order to communicate our findings and to advise tenants how to mitigate against damp, mould and poor indoor air quality we produced a short animated film which can be viewed here
