When Managing Director of Air Monitors Ltd (now ACOEM UK) I designed, installed and operated a network of 130 air quality sensors across the city as part of a project with the Environmental Defence Fund (Europe), Google Street View, National Physical Laboratory, (NPL) Cambridge Environmental Research Consultants (CERC) and Cambridge University. I also designed, built and operated two Google Street View cars with reference grade monitors measuring NO, NO2, O3, CO, CO2, PM, Black Carbon and LDSA around the city for 18 months. The project led to the current Breathe London Network funded by the Greater London Authority (GLA).
